Grimsholm Solder Joint Long (240 mm) individually

With the Grimsholm solder splice connector, you create waterproof splices in your robot installation. With solder that melts and creates a secure connection combined with double glue ring seals at both ends, both good contact and high insulation against ambient moisture are provided.

The splice connector includes a 200mm long extension with Premium HD cable, which is the highest quality level of cable from Grimsholm. This, in combination with its waterproof properties, makes the connector both easy to use, as it replaces a damaged section of existing signal cable up to 200mm long, and enables splicing with minimal resistance.

In addition to the insulation provided by the splice connector's double glue rings, heat shrink tubing containing hot melt adhesive is also included, which provides the connection with extra protection.

This splice connector requires the use of heat to both melt the solder and to shrink the surrounding insulation. Suitable equipment for using this connector includes a heat gun, cigarette lighter or similar.

NOTE! For the best results, and for the "Grimsholm 10Y" warranty to apply, the connector must be used with cable that has a copper core, e.g., cable from Grimsholm that contains "Premium" in the item description. If the connector is used with cable that has an aluminum core or another conductor material, the function may be impaired.
