Suvi 50 DUO - the perfect family boat
Since 2008, Suvi has been part of the same group as Yamarin, Konekesko Oy, and there is close cooperation both within the group and with Yamaha for engines.
The DUO model series offers models from 4.5m to 6.3m, and a very interesting detail is their unique manufacturing procedure, where they offer an unsinkable double-hulled boat. However, the production starts with a single hull, where the inner hull, in the form of modules, is inserted and molded together into a single unit. This is what gives SUVI its characteristic rough surface inside the boat, but it also provides similar buoyancy to a double-hulled boat of the same length and width from other manufacturers that is approximately 30-40% heavier, and at a better price.
The significant difference in weight means the boat can be powered by a smaller engine, saving even more money, plus fuel.
Weight example
The SUVI DUO 57 is 5.7m long and 2.30m wide, weighing only about 520 kg. Many competitors with the same dimensions weigh around 900 kg, meaning you start with a boat that is approximately 400 kg lighter but with comparable buoyancy. The Suvi 57 DUO reaches about 30 knots with a 60 hp engine, while competitors require up to 115 hp to achieve the same speed.

The Suvi 50 DUO is now more equipped than before right from the start. Among other things, it includes grey "teak deck", new, more comfortable seats and a stainless steel keel-guard. The boat is very well-equipped as standard.
New features include a glass door between the consoles and a tall, two-part canopy with standing height – it's also divisible, so you can cruise with only the front half up – you'll be very protected on a stormy day!
The Suvi 50 Duo is a 100% Finnish-built, very modern, stylish, well-equipped, and spacious motorboat with dual consoles, suitable for families, water sports, and sport fishing.
With the aft canopy in place, you get a spacious aft cabin boat – perfect for fishing in rough weather – you can open the entire stern to still land a big salmon or just have the front half on – perfect for trolling!
