Piaggio Ape 50 VAN - License-free moped car

The original! The Piaggio Ape 50 has been continuously manufactured since 1948 based on the same idea – very affordable, very small, very easy to drive, very useful – the world's smallest truck. Piaggio is a pioneer among moped car manufacturers in the Swedish market, and without drastic modernizations, the price has been kept low compared to more modern moped cars.

This is the Ape 50 with a painted sheet metal box. The model carries 175 kg.

The model is also available with open platforms, and with a roll bar on an open platform. All models can also be delivered as EU moped class 1, EU45.

The Ape 50 is equipped with a fuel-efficient 50cc air-cooled 2-stroke engine. The exhaust system is equipped with a catalytic converter, which also makes it environmentally friendly. Hydraulic drum brakes all around are operated by a pedal.

VAT is fully deductible for companies and the model is common as a sales cart, advertising pillar, means of transport for short distances or in city centers, or for companies with employees from 15 years of age. The German police even have one with a box and a slightly more powerful engine to be able to navigate narrow city passages and also carry a lot of cargo.

NEW! This is delivered as a license-free moped car, so-called EU25, class 2 moped.
Persons who turned 15 years old by October 1, 2009, do not need a driver's license or driving training certificate to drive an EU25 moped.
An EU25-type moped or moped car is also cheaper to insure than an EU45, and it can also be driven on bicycle paths.

Freight is added from the warehouse, price for freight on request. For home delivery, it is very important to inspect the delivery and have any freight damages noted on the waybill by the driver. This is the buyer's responsibility and damages without notation risk not being covered by the transport insurance.
Of course, it can also be delivered as an EU moped class 1 and then has a constructive maximum speed of 38 km/h.
