A "perfect" lawn area for a robotic lawnmower means essentially no obstacles in the mowing area, no separate areas or narrow passages, and a square mowing area. The reason for stating a recommended and a maximum mowing area is for an installer to be able to assess that the robot will be able to handle the mowing area several years into the future, as batteries lose some capacity each year and also during the peak growing season, and to discuss this with you as a customer. Using the Kress RTKn network, it navigates your lawn with centimeter precision. No boundary wire or fixed reference antenna needs to be installed in the lawn. The dead reckoning algorithm ensures accuracy when line-of-sight to satellites is blocked by trees or buildings. Powered by MAP™ (Mowing Action Plan) technology, it efficiently manages all lawn areas up to 36,000 in perfect conditions. Additionally, multiple Kress robots can manage the same lawn area if required. INTIVA navigation is intelligent control for narrow sections and paths (patented). STT - Side Trim Technology: mows right up to the edge. RBS - Recharging Brake System recharges the battery.

Installation
Purchase the installation from us with experience, and we'll help you all the way. An account is created, the robot and the antenna mounted on the robot are activated, and a digital design of your mowing area is created and made available to you in the app. We also go through how the app works, and both an instructional video and our own manual with tips and tricks are included. We provide a 2-year warranty on installations performed by us – something we are quite unique in the industry for!
We can also agree on planned changes.
You then own our completed installation, and can directly in the app, remove areas or obstacles, divide mowing areas, and save old obstacles in separate maps.
If you want to install your Kress yourself and are a bit tech-savvy – then you are welcome to rent the Kress RTK Installation Tool for a small fee, a brief introduction to its use, and a manual are included. But just like with other brands installed independently, you are then responsible for a satisfactory installation result.

Kress's own antennas are now being rapidly expanded across Europe, and Sweden is one of the prioritized countries. The advantage of these more powerful receiving antennas is that you, as a customer, don't have to worry about one or more antennas being mounted on the roof or, at best, in the garden. With the help of the Kress RTKn network, it navigates your lawn with centimeter precision. No boundary wire or fixed reference antenna needs to be installed in the lawn, and absolutely no cables are needed, as some competitors require, making it too difficult! The Kress RTK series uses sensors to measure how far and in what direction it has moved from a starting point. This ensures accuracy even when line-of-sight to satellites is blocked by trees and buildings and work where no other RTK robots do the job – Kress handles it without problems.
Each antenna in our exclusive network covers an unlimited number of lawns within an area with a radius of up to 60 km.

Automatic schedule It is not enough to manually program the robotic lawnmower while the grass growth rate constantly changes during the mowing season. The influencing factors are temperature, sunlight, water supply, nutrients, soil composition, and grass species. Cloud services combine relevant data and create a specific work schedule that is sent to each individual Kress Mission daily.
