Distribution also improved and eventually covered more than 60 countries through a network of specialized dealers. Recent years have been groundbreaking for Kress. In 2017, the brand joined the international giant Positec Group. The new capital and improved R&D capabilities meant that Kress went all-in to develop handheld outdoor power equipment. The revolutionary tools were a success with everyone from commercial park and garden workers to private individuals looking for high-quality products. In 2023, the latest major milestone in the brand's almost 100-year history. Kress then launched the next generation of battery systems. The Kress CyberSystem charges fully in eight minutes, thus having the world's fastest charging times by far, while the batteries provide higher power and have ten times longer lifespan compared to similar products on the market.
