Cub Cadet Rear-Mounted Collector LT-series
Collecting grass clippings provides a neater and healthier lawn, as mulching (shredding and fertilizing) often does not yield a sufficiently finely cut result with only one mowing per week, especially during periods of strong growth.
Using a grass collector helps naturally control lawn diseases, promotes new grass growth, and acts as a natural defense against weeds and crabgrass. It can also improve the appearance of your lawn. When you collect clippings, you get a neat and well-groomed finish with clear stripes, without leftover grass clumps and reduced spread of grass to vegetable patches or flower beds. Collecting clippings also saves a lot of time – it's faster than raking, and you don't need to mow as often as with mulching. Suitable for most Troy-Bilt, Cub Cadet, Yard Machines, Bolens, Huskee, and Craftsman ride-on mowers with a 36-inch cutting deck (2019 and onwards).

Flexible hose to prevent clogging
Integrated top-hinged lid for easier removal of collection bags
Inspection window to show when bags are full

Tip: start the first mowing of spring with a "winter clean-up" of the lawn with the collector mounted. This often results in a neat and clean lawn throughout the season and should also end with a collecting cut.

Is the grass so tall that even before you start mowing, you can see it will be difficult to get a neat cut? Then there are no good shortcuts; the grass should be cut in two stages with a day or two in between to handle the harsh treatment in a way that maintains luster and a healthy lawn.
